There are new drone technologies and drone-related software that will take your estate photography to a semi-professional level. Our experience has concluded that you don't need the newest, most expensive drone to provide great photos to clients.
New drones, such as the Mavic 3 or Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad, have a very capable camera, but most people are not able to take full advantage of the capabilities. You can take an older drone, such as Mavic Pro, Mavic Air, or Phantom 4 standard, and still come up with amazing real estate drone photography with very little practice. Real Estate Photography that looks good has to have 2 main ingredients: composition and post-processing. We will not dive into the real estate photography aspect of composition in this writing but on the post-processing side. You can take an excellent drone pilot, give him an older drone, and bet he can take better real estate pictures than a new pilot with the best drone if the post-processing is done correctly. We will go over the post-processing side of real estate photography in another writing as well.
