Old Drones and New Drones in San Diego Real Estate Photography

Real Estate Photography can be a complex subject, but it doesn't have to be.

There are new drone technologies and drone-related software that will take your estate photography to a semi-professional level. Commercial Drones Dispatch - aka San Diego Drones Dispatch has been providing San Diego Realtors and Real Estate Agents with Estate Photography and Estate Videography since 2018. Our experience has concluded that you don't need the newest, most expensive drone to provide great photos to clients.

New drones, such as the Mavic 3 or Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad, have a very capable camera, but most people are not able to take full advantage of the capabilities. You can take an older drone, such as Mavic Pro, Mavic Air, or Phantom 4 standard, and still come up with amazing real estate drone photography with very little practice. Real Estate Photography that looks good has to have 2 main ingredients: composition and post-processing. We will not dive into the real estate photography aspect of composition in this writing but on the post-processing side. You can take an excellent drone pilot, give him an older drone, and bet he can take better real estate pictures than a new pilot with the best drone if the post-processing is done correctly. We will go over the post-processing side of real estate photography in another writing as well.

If you are thinking of starting out with a photography drone in San Diego, contact us and we can take you for a courtesy flight! Our San Diego drone pilots are fully licensed and insured and can guide you in your aerial endeavors. Thank you for reading this estate photography blog from San Diego's Commercial Drones Dispatch.
